@zorinlynx hah nice! Glad that worked for ya. :3 There’s an edge case somewhere there that causes the decryption key to be lost on the device so it needs a new handshake with your instance. I’ve found it has a tendency to happen on OS updates but seen it happen in other odd moments too
@zorinlynx been a while since I’ve seen this one. Yuck. 3: Not all these steps are probably necessary and I know it’s not ideal at all, but logout, delete the app, restart device, reinstall app, log back in. That *should* clear up any crossed streams with decrypting incoming notifications. Try that or any variation of.
@[email protected] There’s a fix on its way, sorry about that!

@[email protected] oh man, I wish all the best for you, your apps are so phenomenally designed! I hope you find a good outfit that recognizes your talents.

I don’t think I’d be able to purchase Mast though. Not in any fair sense that would rightfully compensate for all the time you put into it, and I wouldn’t have a lot to offer to begin with 😅

I’d take this moment to say I’m strongly considering a major overhaul of Amaroq as there’s a lot of features and functionality with the core Mastodon experience that this app has lagged behind on greatly, to a point where I just would like to play around with a fresh slate at least on the UI/UX side of things. Plus there’s so much I’ve learned since then on topics of accessibility and localization that I feel many portions of the codebase could be built to be more maintainable/extendable.

#Amaroq for Mastodon v1.1.17 update: Some login prompt adjustments (now using SF/ASWebAuthenticationSessions), iOS 13 compatibility updates, and a very annoying remote following bugfix that started occurring in Mastodon v3.

‎Amaroq for Mastodon

‎Amaroq is a lightweight universal client for any Mastodon instance! Simply enter the instance you belong to, log in, and enjoy the all the wonders of the federated social network from your phone. Features include but are not limited to: • View all your timelines, whether it's your home, local, or f…

@ruta @vanyok @Gargron @bolvary that’s true, but even if it were written in Swift I’m doubtful it would get more support.

If I somehow conjure some time, I do consider rewriting Amaroq in Swift with iOS13 goodies in mind, but... I don’t have a good track record at maintaining the motivation for that kind of lift.

@tek is there any good reason to respond to these reviews?

They can review bomb all they want - Amaroq isn’t budging or even remotely considering lifting its ban

@[email protected] cmon apple gogogo! /o/
@[email protected] noticed that myself this evening. Says it’s for sale on appstoreconnect 😅
