I'd just like to point out that Nancy Mace is probably FOS on this issue as on every other, but hereditary hemochromatosis is real and serious. It's the most common genetic disorder in white populations, 1 in 300 to 1 in 500 people. Severe organ damage can be avoided with alcohol abstinence and regular phlebotomy to reduce the iron overload.
