Really? Are we doing this again?

Epilogue:
I can’t help to note that the same week Todd Snider died, William Rataczak died.
He was the co-pilot of the flight D.B. Cooper hijacked.

And then this week he has passed away. Only 59 and so many more songs in him.
Losing my heroes Warren Zevon, John Prine and now Todd Snider, it sucks.
Rest I peace Todd. I will miss you.
(2/2)
I have been listening to Todd Snider since I bought Step Right Up on a whim in 1996. I had no idea of the connection to one of my other heroes, John Prine.
Over the years, Snider has always been there. When Prine died, Snider’s song Handsome John brought me comfort.
The last few years, I’ve been increasingly worried about Snider’s health. Hell, just a few weeks ago, when he got arrested in Utah I was both concerned and couldn’t help thinking this will make an interesting story later. (1/2)
Dylan Month 2025 begins and I realize I’ve really been looking forward to it. We’ll see how it feels around the end of October.
Anyways. The ~1500 song playlist started its shuffle with “If You See Her, Say Hello”. Seems appropriate.
On the eve of the US election, Dylan Month 2024 wraps up.
As every year, it’s been different. Difficult. Me, working hard at nights, renovating, while listening to Bob. Doing the things I didn’t think I’d do alone.
Ending with I Threw It All Away:
Love is all there is, it makes the world go ‘round.
Love and only love, it can’t be denied.
No matter what you think about it.
You just won’t be able to do without it.
Take a tip from one who’s tried
The 13th edition of Dylan Month begins. Third year in a row, it is still somehow, coming from inside the chocolate factory.
Kicking off with Most of the Time:
I don’t build up illusion till it makes me sick.
I ain’t afraid of confusion no matter how thick.
I can smile in the face of mankind.
Don’t even remember what her lips felt like on mine.
Most of the time.
