I remember damage. Then escape. Fan of #crows, #StarTrek and the #Japanese language, among many other things. Currently posting one frog species per day. If I keep this up, I should be done in about 20 years. My toots are searchable.

2 is a fun one because my native Dutch has a verb "heten" that means "to be called," e.g. "Ik heet eribosot" means "I'm called eribosot/My name is eribosot."

This part of the fresco depicts "Francesco del Cossa, Duke Borso with his courtiers and Scocola. The court fool, shown much shorter and with stumpier legs than those around him, is further distinguished by his shaved head and the protruding dog's snout, which renders a phallic pun at his expense." --Robin O'Bryan

#foodtoot It's asparagus season, and they were on sale. The recipe for the mashed potatoes with asparagus is by Yotam Ottolenghi. Like the recipe for blackened salmon, it's on New York Times cooking. Notes:

A bandolin (without the "e") is indeed a musical instrument, and I didn't even know that when I wrote C! (I just thought of a mandolin.)

I thought that a holm (in addition to 2C) could only be an island off the coast or in a river, but not in a lake. I was wrong.
