They latch onto fears and enter a "story mode" to fabricate evidence for engagement. It is like talking to a toddler with access to vast knowledge (it is fucking weird as hell).

Two devices, one command. My Nest Hub and phone both try to answer when I say “OK Google.” Gemini seems to relay the command to Assistant, causing overlap. A strange fix works: add a pause or say “please” after the trigger. It gives the devices just enough time to sync responses.

Even from my perspective being an older man, I graduated high school in 1997 and to this day I find I have to define for myself what it means to be a man. Through no problem with my own father, who I have a sense struggles with the exact same thing but does not know how to talk about it.
