decided geniusly, to break out the moka pot from its relative retirement. this ought to fix it surely

1:10 ratio (bialetti moka pot)
~5 min brew time (aluminium moka pot w/ induction adapter at 500W/100°C)
wet aeropress filter paper on top of grounds basket
100°C water in bottom chamber

yeah, this coffee is just not my thing. the bitterness just overpowers everything on this brew. there is some faint acidity but the cup remains unpleasant until the end.

it is very expensive but going by the reviews, it seems to fit a lot more ears than any other "semi-custom" shell from before. it also has an all metal build like the oriveti od200. still just looking as before, not looking to buy a new iem any time soon.

it feels relatively heavier than the biore, but it has ceramides for the skin barrier and likely better water resistance. i liked this better on really hot, humid days. even if it were available, the cost was pretty high. it was a bit cheaper on sales sometimes though.

logged into windows today to update bios after being on cachy since the previous post.

was instantly reminded why i went linux in the first place: 200 more nits of brightness and proper hdr for my laptop display. also updates on windows remain a pain to go through. the text rendering was also noticeably worse to me on windows. the audio popping with heavy loads also persists on windows, even with audio driver updates.
