Super relaxing trip away this weekend for Father’s Day! We went to Golden Hill on Lake Ontario to stay in a yurt. Thankfully we did, as most of the weekend was cold, windy, and rainy. We were able to get out and do some exploring, though.

I know we’ve had a lot of rain, but Dark Sky seems to be rubbing it in today.

My wife got me a penguin encounter for my birthday! I loved penguins growing up — especially after reading Mr. Popper’s Penguins and the Bloom County comic strip. Today I got to hang out with Opus at the Niagara Falls Aquarium. What a coincidence!

The Mrs. won Educator of the Year at her school. So proud!

Our favorite Girl Scout event: marching the Buffalo Pride with our troop. So much fun, so positive. Restores my faith in humanity for another year. 🌈🏳️‍🌈❤️
