@endingwithali Preach it, sister! The level of blockage here is ridiculous. And yet everyone -- sysadmins (me), security, management -- all admit we do this for "compliance", and that it doesn't actually make us more secure. The customer gives us detailed configs for all devices, new software has to be pre-approved (months-long process), and we spend *much* more in time and money because we have to use this crippled system. But it's not allowed to impact the delivery dates...
