Re: why set an alarm type reminder

It allows you to set an alarm more than 24 hours in advance. In my job, I often have deliverables for other countries, leading to tasks that must happen in the middle of the night. Previously, I had to set reminders for the night before that told me nothing other than “set an alarm for this time”

Now I can set it and forget it, many days in advance. Not everyone has this use case or anything similar, but it is crazy useful for me.

My mother’s funeral was yesterday. Many people have done everything they can to make it easier.

But let me say this: I believe that there is a spot in Hell reserved for those who use a funeral as their opportunity for self-aggrandizement or political grandstanding.

@stephenrobles I know that you (and hopefully some people who see this post) implemented the “Jason Snell convert .webpage graphics to .jpeg” automation using a shell script. So did I.

Have you started receiving notifications about recursive behavior in 26.4? I get them even when my shell script finds ZERO .webp graphics, and should theoretically do nothing.
