I write and record and study and sing and yell and yell and yell and yell and sing and yell and yell.
In 2025 we fight *monarchism*, a political philosophy that says those with power deserve it because they have it (social Darwinism) or because God ordained it (divine right of kings). It threatens the rights we've enjoyed for centuries, and it's winning (Putin, Trump, Bibi, Kim.)
These two tyrants want the same thing: a world where might makes right, power is hyper-concentrated at the top, and bloated nation-states carve up the globe into amoral mini-empires locked into ceaseless squabbles that impoverish most but enrich an unaccountable elite.
Remember when you were a scared teen and thought that being cruel in public to people below you in status was the same thing as being funny? Some people grow past that, some don't, and those two groups are the nuclei of a new political divide that cuts across left and right.
