In Texas' power to choose portal, you could always find power companies selling power for as low as 5 cents per KWh. Solar panel owners could get credit for excess production at same rate.

Now, solar buyback plans don't pay more than 3.5 cents per KWh and charge you at least 15 cents if you sign up for a 3 year contract.

#Linux guys: I need recommendations for the simplest, most user-friendly distro currently available. I'm looking for something that will run great in a 10-year old laptop (Zenbook UX305)

I personally use Debian/XFCE which served me well on it, but I'm reformatting it to send to a friend. Tried Win10 on it and it's brutally slow and full of junk.
