The results of the Cost-Benefit Analysis of RCAAP - Portugal's Open Access Scientific Repositories were presented at the Open Science: Monitoring Progress, Assessing Impact Conference. In an estimate that the authors assume to be conservative, RCAAP's benefits are more than 30 per cent higher than its costs, with an estimated annual ‘saving’ of almost €500,000 in recent years.
