When you think about it, Trump does offer one bit of hope and optimism for the USA. We were always told that any American kid could grow up to be president. Trump proved that they don't even have to grow up.

He contends that we should stop calling Trump a fascist because what he's doing is mostly legal. That word "mostly" is packing a heavy load. Firing IGs - illegal. Revoking birthright citizenship - unconstitutional. Blocking federal funding - illegal.
Stewart says "we gave Trump his power". Wrong. "We" didn't say he could break the law. "We" didn't install a corrupt hack SCOTUS.
Remember, Jon, Hitler was elected.
