@iamgerardthomas quite liked my Korg EA-1 and ER-1, but also stolen.
@iamgerardthomas and a Novation bassstation I quite liked, and a Nord Lead…and a Yamaha Cs-1X, which I still feel was under-rated.
@iamgerardthomas I used to have a Juno-106, but it was stolen.
When I started making music in 1996, I looked for *good* instruments. Now, with virtual instruments and DAWs so good, I look for *bad* instruments - things with character, flaws, and uncontrollable chaos. Physical synths are for happy accidents, VSTs are for controlled sound.
@compfu I have no idea what those are :D
Synths used were a Korg Monotron Duo, a Monotron Delay and a Stylophone Gen X-2
Nothing high end at all, just some quirky noise making machines :)
Layers -
Industrial, with the vast majority of the sounds coming from outboard analog synths. F minor, 130 bpm

Unelectable@vantablack I mean, this goes along with "You don't own anything you can't carry at a dead run."
At its core, you have to decide how to make a system where no one has the power to take rights away. Legally? With force?
@chantaryu2 Oh, I agree 100% Women are also massively outnumbering men in STEM education these days.
