@shieladixon I see the view count on the video keeps going up. Impressive!

Have you listened to any of the OPL3 music by Abstract 64? Some really interesting instruments/patches e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qN43F-lIk5c

Lots of other great stuff on the channel too - Crystal Oscillator is another good tune.

yet to be finished cover of eon (YMF262)

@shieladixon wow that's fantastic! Glad that you have got some use out of it ๐Ÿ™‚

I have made a couple of footprint fixes to the board so will do an R2 soon but nothing major (these are currently on a branch)

I also have an incomplete OPL2 design (for those allergic to SMD ๐Ÿ™‚) that I may finish at some point.

My first FM synth board was an OPM card (the one I brought to EMF! https://github.com/electrified/rc2014-ym2151) but it's use in the Commander X16 made the ICs jump up in price / harder to obtain ๐Ÿ˜ž

@edbrindley I can't tell you how grateful I am for this. Thank you. It's fun to listen to the examples, and this is my first go at making music for FM synthesis:

Enjoying a Boxing Day Chip Tune Party with @shieladixon today thanks to @edbrindley awesome OPL3 sound card for the #RC2014

@rc2014 @shieladixon glad it is providing you with some boxing day entertainment :D

There are some Christmas songs in the Adlib song collection that I have been playing https://vgmrips.net/packs/pack/adlib-music-synthesizer-card-demo-songs-ibm-pc-xt-at

If you are looking for a song that pushes the OPL3 to it's limits have a listen to https://demozoo.org/music/371026/ - too large to play on the RC2014 though! (at least with the current player)

VGMRips: Adlib Music Synthesizer Card Demo Songs

Tracks 1-29 were included on the Jukebox disks that came with the Adlib card. Tracks 30-157 were included on eight song albums that could be ordered separately from Adlib. An eight- song selection was given to customers who sent in their registration card as a "Registration Bonus". Tracks 158-166 are short sketches included on the Adlib Visual Composer disk. Track 167 is a sound effects demo song included with the Adlib Developer's Toolkit.

@rc2014 I guess you mean P15S? P25S sounds quite large....
@rc2014 sorry, I only have a T460 and a P14S Gen 1! (and a P1 Gen 6 from work, don't think they'd be very happy if I sold that ๐Ÿ˜€)
@dazraf Any thoughts on atproto? I have been getting somewhat interested in https://tangled.org/ which uses atproto under the hood.

@0x47df you can buy fake/cloned dbx driverack processors on AliExpress, apparently they even run the official firmware. I have been tempted to buy one just for fun ๐Ÿ˜€
