Always been a voracious reader and read or knew of most years’ famous books but two chunks of my life are missing that cultural knowledge : my years in the Navy at sea and my son’s first few years on the planet. Found this copy of Marilynne Robinson’s Housekeeping at Letters in Durham, my beloved local bookstore turned coop! A new author’s works to devour!

There is something to be said for gamification. Habit trackers are useful for some purposes, even when you learn to game them over time. I’m not fluent or even conversational in #Ukrainian yet, that will take other learning tools but now I know enough to read a little bit. Thanks #Duolingo and thanks Thomas!
