@julescelt01 @ai6yr I keep hard-copy, Geological Survey maps available when I go beyond my local area. Google and other GPS maps have lead me to bizarre places, which can be fun, but can also be dangerous. I double-check what GPS says versus the Geo-Survey maps say to avoid problems. Indeed, we once had an emergency requiring an ambulance... and they used a GPS to find our house. That GPS tried to send them over a road that had been closed down, and left to Nature, more than 20 years before. Fortunately for the patient, her issue was not life threatening ultimately, but if it had been, she would be dead and buried long ago.

A knitter's dilemma:
I found myself charmed by some medium-gauge acrylic yarn in the store. It's pastel rainbow and pretty and machine washable.

Yes! I thought. This could be a fun, lacy, airy wrap that knits quickly!

Except now...i have no pattern to go with it.
