Wondering why you might want to use GNU Emacs?

@bill I'm certain that OpenBSD has similar release notes and upgrade notes for different situations, so your post is a bit silly.
PS. I looked them up, so yes, there are.
PPS. Upgrading from Bookworm to Trixie on my desktop, laptop and servers was pretty trivial.
@10tothe22 @Free_Press @Captain_Jack_Sparrow The epitome of projection.
Biden is a war criminal. Full stop.
@artfulrobot @debian Only the Debian Live image uses the Calamares installer. Other images such as netinstall use Debian's own installer.
I've never used the Calamares installer (not a Debian thing, but a cross distribution thing) so can't help much. It's probably best to send in a bug report so that if there is a problem, it can be discussed and resolved.
@benjamineskola @thetemp It's funny, I thought ... what are you on about, GNU #Emacs does that!
Then I had a look at my init file (kept with Org babel) and there it was:
use-package visual-fill-column
etc.
It's been there so long that I'd basically forgotten about it.
@zyzzyxdonta I use ido with fuzzy matching so I have this kind of thing happening when I name a new file/directory or rename a file or directory.
To stop ido doing its fuzzy matching thing, I hit C-f, which then lets me use whatever name I want without interference.

@brettk I don't know what's happened for you (or maybe it's my Debian box), but I still have access to all the tty screens I ever did.
PS. Ooops, missed "testing." I'll get round to it at some point in this Debian round.
@jameshowell "when you die, I will eat you".
Actually, it's not a bad attitude, for a cat.
