Another blur of bodies, unknown stories, unresolved paths. One seems clipped, shorn in two - but is perhaps emerging from behind an object. A hand melds with a face, shoulder and arm shrink into each other.

I'm about as confident as can be that this is Thunbergia alata, aka Black-eyed Susan Vine - a five-petalled flower with an eye-catching black hole in its centre. This flower was spotted in the excellent Gardens of the World in Berlin.

And even though they're now playing a more modern pop song which wouldn't be my thing - at least I can tell it's something made with intention

Place I'm in right now is playing old classics. It just played a Marvin Gaye track, before that Mamma Cass.

Give me that, or well anything with intention and soul and meaning ANY DAY over the generic 'inoffensive' stuff - which I think ends up being more offensive to everyone by its blandness.

As a self-employed person working from home, I've been trying to get out of the house a bit more - doing some work from local cafés, general admin stuff, emails etc.

Some places in my neighbourhood play horrendous generic music, presumably with the aim of being as inoffensive as possible, basically elevator music, others play weird generic acoustic covers of pop songs that weren't particularly good to start with, but have now been daubed over with a generic stick.

Hard to believe, a little more than a month ago the lake at Fennpfuhl was still completely frozen. It's hard to tell in this photo, but if you look closely you'll see the lake surface has little puddles all over it in between dark ice.

As seems to happen every time we visit Tierpark Berlin, we find another section that we've never seen before. This time I was absolutely floored to see before me a Steller's Sea Eagle, which appeared to have a very serious look on its face.

Who needs a CEO anyway when CEAI can do most of their work. Fire the CEO, and put the money towards the the underappreciated lower level employees.
