Leonid Kotelnikov, aka fake_trailers, mid-performance at ACT 6 last year. This was one of the most unusual performances I've seen! At times hilarious, at other times grotesque, it certainly isn't something I'll forget any time soon.

Part of an installation at the Albertinum in Dresden - the delightfully textured and coloured shape gradually but then rapidly fades to complete blackness - as though the light has been entirely swallowed and could not find its way back out.

Isolated from its surroundings, colour, and context, this chimney becomes a study of shape and texture and shadow. I like the sensation of a curved shape on a background that feels almost flat and featureless.
