After spending 25 hours on a train, I am convinced that all trains sing a song. They make their own music. One just has to listen.
I started working on a piece of #music earlier this week and have ended up with something quite beautiful. It will definitely be on the next #album.

"The #GlobalPeaceIndex is calculated using 23 qualitative and quantitative indicators from highly respected sources, and measures the state of peace across three domains: 1) the level of Societal Safety and Security, 2) the extent of Ongoing Domestic and International Conflict, 3) and the degree of Militarisation."

#Iceland is on top, #Canada ranks at #14. #USA is near the bottom at #128.

So the wonderful people over at Unexplained Sounds Group released this. It's a collection of experimental music from Australia. It contains exceptional artists with interesting ideas on sound. My personal favourite is 'In Every Other Shadow' by Browning Mummery, but, I invite you to find your own. https://unexplainedsoundsgroup.bandcamp.com/album/anthology-of-experimental-music-from-australia
I'm very happy to be included on this excellent compilation. Thank you Unexplained Sounds Group. unexplainedsoundsgroup.bandcamp.com/album/anthol...

This guy made a real life version of Wallace & Gromit’s breakfast machine, complete with a spoonful of jam flying through the air perfectly meeting a piece of toast popping out of a toaster. (Don’t miss the outtakes.) https://kottke.org/25/05/a-real-life-version-of-wallace-gromits-breakfast-machine

I've been busy doing the day job and very slowly working on the next album. Like a lot of independent artists here, I make, mix, and master everything. At the moment, I still have this on Bandcamp. It's cheaper than a coffee and won't keep you up all night. davidwhatson.bandcamp.com/album/eclect...
