A lot of time passed since my last Screenshot Saturday, but today I got something exciting to share.
Here the first version of the in-game editor for my game @99managers that allows to customize leagues, teams and players in every aspect!
I create Free and Open Source games with zero ads and zero tracking since 2017.
Currently working on @99managers

I just found some old screenshots of my game from summer 2024 and was impressed by the progress the game made over the last 18 months. To be fair, I work full time on the game since over 1 year now.
I started my blog because I wanted to share my work and have a personal presence on the web, that is truly mine and not dependent on some social media or similar. Now nearly 3 years later I wrote 37 blog posts and I love it!
Also the numbers show that it is totally worth it. The website has no tracking, but I can see the growth in the Google Search Console. Impressive!
Removing the black background bars in #Godot is easier than expected!
Multiple sub-viewports work, but are useless overhead. It's much simpler by having a main view with min size of your screen size and the anchor settings set to shrink center. Behind a big background, that has x4 the min size.
I'm on vacation (again) and decided to create new Steam Store capsule graphic for @99managers
After 3 hours of work and 2 new versions, I decided to keep the old one, because the colors of that have something special.
At least I have now a bash script that generates all needed sizes out of one image.
I'm considering a new dashboard layout with big icon buttons on the bottom instead of the buttons on the left. It would make it also much easier to use on devices with touch screens like tablets or phones.
Does this look good?
The demo for 99Managers on Steam is now available since 6 days and the numbers positively surprised me!
- 744 added it to the library
- 68 played it
- 18 minutes average
- 2 played 200+ minutes
Exited to see the numbers during the upcoming NextFest!
