I just made a tapioca jelly with tart cherry juice and Chambord. It's essentially Sagu de Vinho but with Chambord and fruit juice instead of red wine. Sometimes I use a pomegranate liqueur like Pama. I call it "Red Tide".
Even though it's April, another snowfall is not out of the question here in Northeastern Pennsylvania, but it gets less and less likely with every passing day. Sadly, winters of heavy snow seem to be a thing of the past. Unless a late, freakish storm event occurs, it's likely this gloppy four or so inches that fell during the early morning of March 7th will go down as the biggest of the season:
Here is another group of Crocus. I adore the striped ones.

The Crocus are wrapping up. The Scilla and Narcissi are reaching their peak. One of the Hyacinths is in bloom, and the others aren't far behind.

I started playing Magic the Gathering Arena late last year.
I never thought I'd make it this far with my little black deck. I know I won't be staying long, and I might not make it back to it again, but I'm thrilled to be there for now, even if it means losing my ass off game after game.

Made lamb stew tonight. It's a little different than usual. I don't normally put corn in it, but I had some that needed to be used. I usually go with standard size potatoes, peeled and chopped, but those looked shitty at the store, so I bought tiny red ones.
