I'm aware the banner takes up a lot of the screen on mobile, particularly on smaller phones, and I would like to somehow make it better but am not super sure how. Either way, I hope the easy dismissal makes this not annoying enough to be fine?

@Em0nM4stodon Asking because I'm trying to incentivize people to support my websites, since they're not free to run, but I am vehemently opposed to ads and tracking and I'm not sure how else to do this.

@Em0nM4stodon How do you feel about a banner explaining that we don't run ads or trackers on our site and asking you to, if you like what we do, consider donating in Ko-fi? I do this on my company's website and I'm hoping this is OK. It is easily dismissed, which sets a cookie that is only used to not show it to you again with an expiry time of 30 days.
