Today's shining example of ST's platform BSP code, and I quote:
/* Change the switch matrix read issuing capability to 1 for the AXI SRAM target (Target 7) */
*((volatile uint32_t*)0x51008108) = 0x00000001;

That, my friends, is what we call a "notional comment." Like, I appreciate the effort, but holy crap, y'all.

hey masto folks, friends n #gamedev people

do you know of a cool indie game with LGBTQ or female or non-white characters in it? tell me about them!

(also pls boost this toot, i'd be super grateful! ✨ )

Bad news: Belinda Carlisle has confirmed, upon further review, that Heaven is absolutely NOT a place on earth.

Small consolation: We still got the beat.

I'm glad that it's #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. More should be done to raise awareness of an illness that affects far more than we realise.

So spare a thought for the people you meet today and try to be kind to them - you never know what they're going through.☺

Also Maiyannah Bishop being a gamergater and not believing in silencing instances and being active over at ActivityPub makes me very sceptical about it.

postActiv has enough leverage in the community to get more or less a great deal of what they want and at least concessions.

I expect nothing but bad ones at that.

@Elizafox

What killed OStatus at W3C is that Evan Prodromou came down with a bout of CADT, wrote Pump instead and moved identi.ca to it.

That is what killed OStatus.

@Elizafox

Not entirely true.

OStatus was made by the StatusNet guys and donated to W3C after the IETF didn't want it.

I've been following this nonsense since it was identi.ca

#OpenSSH has fully deleted SSHv1. It was disabled at run time, then disabled at compile time, and now it's completely gone.

It's been recommended to use SSHv2 for at least 10 years, so even hardware routers should be compatible.

Good riddance SSHv1, we won't miss you.
