this was me in 1990 with the Mac Classic (although "saving up for" was really "working on the parents" since there was no way for a middle schooler to get his hands on $1000)

@Androidauth I put references to the dessert name into each of the mission patch logos:
Android 14: the Android planet looms upside-down
Android 15: the "V" shape overall is a nod to Vanilla Ice Cream, and the visible crop of the Android planet at the bottom has an ice-cream-cone shape
Android 16: the diamond-shaped star is cut like a tray of Baklava (and if you really squint, you can also see it as a Waffle, an attempted abecedary bridge)
