I really like it when apps have a "search" button conveniently located at the bottom of the screen where I can get to it while using my phone with one hand. But then they go and put the text box at the top of the screen, and once you realise you now have to go and click that, you have to change how you're holding the phone to click it to then actually start searching - using the keyboard that appears at the bottom of the screen...

I know this is the definition of a first-world problem but it's amazing how many apps do this. They've taken something that should be one easy swift click-and-go, and made it into two awkward movements to opposite ends of the screen that completely breaks flow and concentration. Ew.

I imagine this would be even more vexing for people with accessibility requirements...

The world would be better off without AI.

That's really the only point that matters to me. I don't really care if you think it 10x's your productivity. I have yet to see any argument or combination of arguments that remotely comes close to negating that statement. The world would simply be better off without AI.

It certainly seems that Australia has plenty of social cohesion - and it's Minns and NSW police who are falling short. Unless they backtrack hard and fast, I can't see this ending well for them.

I'm mesmerised by the word-play of "united indifference" vs "united in difference", and wish i had the art skills to make something of it.

Something where the former shows what happens when evil is ignored and allowed to fester, whereas the latter shows the beauty strength and solidarity of celebrating peoples differences across all the spectrums.

I think i'd be willing to commission something along those lines if i could find someone with a matching style but I've no idea where to start on that - for now i just want to get the idea out there for anyone who might want to use it to depict something meaningful to them... (preferably without AI, i feel like that sits squarely in the "indifference" side of the picture)
