2 months ago I bought an Fujitsu Lifebook u7311, it came with Windows 11 and it was terribly slow even though I upgraded RAM with an extra 16GB. Installed CachyOS on it earlier this week, its blazing fast. It's also my first time running Niri and Noctalia and so far liking it!
When you link a new device against Signal desktop you're now enable to make the choice to sync message history or not to the new device. Fancy.
One Youtuber I watch has I think, moved to a voice-clone text-to-speech model as it misses emotion he normally uses and it sounds slightly off. The comments are not vibing with it all. It's the first YouTuber i've seen switch to an TTS voice-clone, has others seen this happen? What were the comments like?
