Hi #fediverse. We need to talk about something.

While talking to a colleague about how I recently learned most people have never sat on a cow it came up that she has never sat on a horse. Like, not even once during childhood.

Another colleague admitted they also have never sat on a horse.

My hypothesis is that most people have at one point in their life sat on a horse.

Have you sat on a horse?

@mattiem In case you are still at it, here is one way: Use an AsyncStream as the chokepoint. Low priority creates the stream and holds the sole continuation until work is done. High awaits the stream's first element, so it's blocked. Medium tasks saturate the cores, starving Low.
@ridmaur Best not add two syncs in the one app. But if you want to move to Ensembles, it should be fine once each device has your new version. I’m not sure what happens to the old CloudKit data. Don’t know if Apple have a way to remove that. It is probably just a zone you can delete.

✅ Blame Europe for failure
✅ Weaken Europe with refugees

Only really seeing positives from his viewpoint.

Commentators focus on his popularity, but he has seen his last election (hopefully!)

The remote control function in Claude code is very flaky. Get the feeling they panicked over OpenClaw and rushed it out.
Hegseth is a caricature of a US military leader. It’s like watching Mars Attacks!
@cdf1982 Both. The tests were ported. I think I added more, but not 100% sure anymore. I remember sessions debugging a few.

Ensembles 3 local-first sync framework for Core Data and SwiftData is now a thing.

Ensembles Reanimated

TLDR; I rewrote Ensembles — my 13-year-old Objective-C sync framework — in Swift 6, using Claude Code. It now supports SwiftData, has new backends, and is in public beta. Way back in 2013, I was tr…
