We had two boxes of Chessex clear standard sets, 75 miniature d6s, five character sheets from Traveler, a dice tower half full of hand-forged dice, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored d10s, d12s, d8s, d4s... and also a 36-sider, a 100-sider, a handful of d6s that only go up to 3, a d20 with 0-9 printed twice each and two dozen standard poker dice. Not that we needed all that for the game, but once you get locked into a serious dice collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

@anon_opin the UK simply shrunk its empire back to its home islands (and the Falklands) and half the world still nonds along politely to the current monarch. The US doesn't have any such luxury.
