So, I did some additional options to my bodice and skirt #sewing pattern kit: https://www.dressdeveloper.com/pattern-kits/bodice-and-skirt-dress/
You can now aditionally choose between two princessline bodices and a there are two noew skirt options (gathered and quarter Circle skirt) as well.
This pattern kit is so versatile. I can totally see shift dresses, romantic flowy sun dresses, practical everyday dresses...
Did I mention it's free and you can create the patterns for your very own measurements? 😆
Recently we talked about large bust darts. It can be tricky to sew up a large dart without it getting "pointy" in the wrong way.
That's why I love princess lines. Basically the pattern is divided along the dart lines and smoothed out, so you get a much softer look. This can be done in knit fabrics, too!
Here are some of my favourites:

My brain: You know what would be cool? If you would write an online editor that takes your #sewing patterns and enables people to alter them further.
Me: Are you kidding? That would basically mean to write a whole vector editing program! And you can already download the patterns as SVG to put into any vector program anyway.
My brain: Well, it would have to be better than THESE, obviously.
Me: Oh, SHUT UP!
Do you know what is people’s most favourite #sewing pattern of mine? My hood pattern, which you can easily create for an existing neckline: https://www.dressdeveloper.com/sewingpatterns/hood-linaria/
And I have something similar for sleeves, too: https://www.dressdeveloper.com/pattern-kits/sleeves/
What could another “add this to an existing pattern” add on look like? 🙂
So, everytime you create one of my pattern kits https://www.dressdeveloper.com/pattern-kits/ with a new configuration, this configuration (not the measurements) get saved with a code, which allows you to recreate or share this specific pattern.
Right now there are 11.526 different configurations saved in the database.
Which basically means we created 11k of different #sewing patterns between me and you.
Somehow this brings me joy 😆
We have instructions for my jacket pattern kit 😀

Here is the pattern configuration I used: https://www.dressdeveloper.com/pattern-kits/jackets/25-43/
As always, the pattern is available for free and can be created in your own measurements - no math required.
The pattern is specifically designed to be very simple, as I already have some more complex coats on my website. I hope you like it!
