YouTube is now using AI to alter people's videos without permission. (There are threads about this at https://mastodon.content.town/@operationpuppet/115640694705318541 & https://mastodon.nzoss.nz/@strypey/115598837629003478 etc)

This is really disturbing and dangerous. It's more insidious than censorship because viewers cannot tell a video has been altered.

If you post to YouTube, I'd strongly recommend you start ALSO posting to PeerTube, either on your own server or a public server. There's a complete guide here:

Akcja Degoogle z LineageOS

Jeden z czytelników zgłosił się do mnie z pytaniem, czy mógłbym wgrać LineageOS na kilku starszych telefonach od Xiaomi i Huawei.

Wyrzuciłem więc z nich fabryczne ociężałe oprogramowanie razem z balastem od Google i zastąpiłem je zdecydowanie nowszym Androidem w wydaniu LineageOS. Razem z nowym lżejszym systemem smartfony dostały drugie życie i dzięki temu posłużą jeszcze właścicielowi przez dłuższy czas.

Tak @icd, robię Wam konkurencję 😉

Letzte Woche lässt sich der sächsische Bildungsminister dafür feiern, dass es weniger Unterrichtsausfall gibt. Statt jeder 3 fällt nur noch jede 4 Stunden aus, an den weiterführenden Stunden.
Das gleichzeitig der Unterrichtsausfall an den Grundschulen angestiegen ist, weil Lehrer von der Grundschule an Oberschulen abgeordnet wurden wird dabei verschwiegen.

Hello people interested in a decentralised Fediverse, would like some feedback on something 🙏

At the moment, Fedi.Garden only lists Fediverse servers with fewer than 50,000 registered members. I am wondering if this limit should be replaced by a limit based on active members rather than registered members?

If a server has had a lot of signups in the past but not many active now, it is perhaps unfairly shut out of Fedi.Garden even though it now needs help getting noticed?

Any thoughts?
