I've always thought the concern about which instance you use was silly. Now I know I was wrong about that, too.
Wiser heads than mine have told me the problem is that my Mastodon instance is running an old version of the server software.
I could swear I read that you could edit posts on Mastodon, but all I'm seeing is Delete and redraft. Ice Cubes has an Edit command, but all it's done for me is run the gear spinner.
You wouldn’t know it from looking at him, but @jamesthomson is actually older than PCalc.
