it's corny but to me we're both like the rain somehow. youre quiet but familiar and predictable like light rain, i'm neurotic and fleeting like storms

when it rains, i open my window to listen and smell... and i think about that time you told me how you thought itd be sweet to hold each other in bed on rainy mornings

the smell of petrichor and the look of the grass and the trees feels comforting, like everything is finally at a rest for now

the sound drives me crazy after awhile, but when i lose focus of it, it becomes pleasant
