Last weekend I had the pleasure of introducing a group of 12 years olds (including my son) into #ttrpg, specifically #daggerheart , and they loved it, as did I.

At the beginning they struggled with the dynamics of not being able to see a board, but as soon as i started drawing and using some minis, everything changed.

They were driving the plot so strongly, that i decided to follow their lead and build on their steps, throwing away the written one shot almost completely.

This weekend more! 😎

15 mins left of a 8 hours long #3dprint… and then I accidentally have powered the printer off. Luckily, it has a resume function, which homes the head, which made it crash with the printed component.

The biggest difference is by far the much better user experience: it just works every time without needing to tweak or adjust anything.

I’ve been printing non stop for the last few days without a single print failure, and the quality is unbelievable.

I really love how #opensource works: I just had an issue with my new #kindle not having page information on the books I was exporting from #calibre.

Solution? Some python code to add the missing functionality and raised a PR: https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibre/pull/2808

So hopefully, next version of #calibre will contain this small contribution
