@micheletedeschini cool, I’m particularly interested in what drives the accumulation of land and property. Seems structurally distinct from capital accumulation, as the rents generated don’t necessarily have to be reinvested to further accumulation. So could be about consumption power, status, etc., but can’t help thinking there might be something libidinal going on. Still trying to wrap my head around the ideas of surplus jouissance and perversion in #JacquesLacan. Any links with your work?
