Building my own MOD player (for giggles, also because I've never really written any audio code at all, and this seems like a good way to learn) and reading this TXT file I found called FMODDOC.TXT which was last updated 17/11/1995, and describes how this guy's MOD player from 1995 works and... wait...

They're a wedge issue. If you think it's okay to deprive trans people of the right to exist in the public sphere then you're saying human rights are conditional and/or can be withdrawn. Which puts you on a slippery slope to no human rights for anyone.

This is 100% correct.
Also, folks have been looking to write cross platform programs since time immemorial anyway. Native has always been fighting against this. So now native is bad and electron is “good enough”…. There’s just no winning anymore. The operating systems have given up.
