My Chinese friends are not bad people, but they are only shown China state TV. This is one of the reasons Ukraine will fight against Russia. Under a totalitarian regime you see what the government wants you to see.

This should greatly reduce the demand for single use surgical and N95 masks, reduce the disposal problem.

Hangzhou city in #China started a QR code health system, where all residents must register. 3 ratings: red for 14 days quarantine, yellow for 7 days quarantine and green for no quarantine.
Local buildings, public transit and public areas will all scan for people's QR code. With the phone's location data it should be pretty easy to tell if someone's breaking quarantine.

#Wuhan is critical and a humanitarian tragedy. Many health depts and communities closed themselves off. Infected people cannot get to a hospital, will infect their families, or cannot help themselves.
There is an ethical and humanitarian dilemma. Forced gov't quarantine will not provide proper care, but staying at home risks infecting their family, but they can comfort each other.
