Xerneas, Pikachu, and Honedge can have a background inspired by Pokémon X.

Yveltal, Pikachu, and Honedge can have a background inspired by Pokémon Y.

All Pokémon caught from Mega Raids can have a background inspired by Mega Evolution.

These backgrounds can be obtained from anywhere in the world, including via remote raid. The odds for Special Backgrounds are typically around 1 in 10.
