My @discographyfm channel on YouTube focuses on preserving music that didn't make it into the digital age.
One of the barriers to sharing more of my collection there is imagery for the video stream. This is very time consuming to create by hand.
So I've written a python script that loops through a folder of audio files and uses the metadata it finds to generate these static images.
These bands both feature Nate Ruess (Fun.) and Sam Means of The Format as young punks.
