I am still figuring out what would be the best way to organize seat/ticket reservations. If you have some ideas, pease share.

During solstice and Līgo time, we are having guests from University College London, UK, Angela McArthur. Angela will visit us for few days to check DDA studio and Laidi Palace residency space, meet people, bit explore Kuldiga region and have a bit time for her self. She will give a presentation/talk and showcase pieces from hers archive during 22.06. at 17:00!

I recieved email from Zétény Nagy, we met during DDA 2025 residency year in Laidi Palace. He is doing his PhD at IEM now and as part of his studies, he is conducting a survey on composers' and performers' relationship with embodiment, and their interface use habits: https://cloud.iem.at/index.php/apps/forms/s/KHYX8EmRdcSpnw6x6E5MBAEm

Lets help Zétény to gain some data on our habits working with sound. Our participation is very valuable to the research project, and may shape the development of future interfaces and controllers.

"How To Ambisonics" are out!! These tutorials will be usefully for everyone who is interested to learn how to set up reaper project for encoding mono, stereo, 5.1 surround and ambisonics microphone recording files; set up reaper master channel and project for ambisonics decoding (speaker playback and binaural); rendering your project; how ensemble (band) can spatialise their instruments and sounds independently within a collective performance.
