@[email protected] @starlabssystems I have actually and its a bit sluggish. Currently using Fedora and its working a bit better. I even tried the latest version of VanillaOS samething. I gave Cosmic a try and it worked really well but I'll wait till its in beta.
@eshep interesting! I've also ran into https://gohugo.io both good choices just not familiar with the installations between the two  time to start reading. I've got a shared hosting with cPanel these don't look as easy as setting up a WordPress site...

What’s a good blog alternative platform that’s not Wordpress or Squarespace because that’s all I honestly know about. #linux
@linkachus17 @[email protected] for some odd reason Vivaldi would have this process running in the background and it would ramp up my CPU like crazy!!

My take on Vivaldi Browser after using it almost a week:

- UI is a little bit confusing to navigate, but I can deal with that. No big deal
- Imports is a bit different here, I can import my bookmarks like normal via .csv file, but for Passwords I have to import the data from Firefox
- Tab closing is a little bit weird like it open the last opened tab after closing current tab instead of moving to previous tab
- Sync works like a charm, no unexpected logouts like my experience with Brave Browser
- Hey it has some cool customization like wallpapers for Homepage, and custom Status bar color
- Almost complained that it runs on Xwayland by default, but can be configured
- It has Workspace! cool! now I can separate tabs to browse some mods for a game (it's like 20+ tabs) and tabs for main browsing

I guess Vivaldi Browser is my default browser now
@Linux I think I should mention you on this one

@nixCraft Yeah, IF you have a good memory, which many users do not. GUIs are great for people with poor to average memories (also for people with little to no typing skills) but for some reason some geeky types think it is okay to make fun of GUI users, just because they presumably have great memories and can remember all those obscure terminal commands and their options (or don't mind spending hours reading and re-reading documentation). #unix #linux #macos #freebsd
@kolev I never understood how to use pika backup can I use a backup and restore it to another device ? Or is it device specific it was very confusing when using it. Where timeshift to me is a bit straightforward even though it took a little to get use to.
Don't forget to back up! Just performed backups with Pika Backup. #backup #GNU #Linux #Fedora #GNOME #PSA
