"Shashbau" is a traditional Kazakh ornament for braids. It is an affectionate poetic address to a beloved girl.

"Syrga" means earring in Kazakh. Correspondently, a "syrgalym" is a girl with earrings, a beauty, a beloved.

Such words give the song a special tenderness and national color, preserving the spirit of Kazakh folk poetry.

"Akerke" is a song about love, separation, motherland and bright feelings that remain in the heart
