This illusion was new to me. Does whichever dot you look at turn more purple?

Pretty neat how clearly this lets you see the reduced sensitivity to blue light in the very centre of your vision.

A great example of how being able to write code more quickly doesn’t translate to business or user value.

While the number of apps in the App Store has exploded given the rise of AI coding tools, the number of apps with 10 or more user ratings is actually plummeting.

Just learned about „WhatCable" that can read out the e-Marker chips on a USB-C cable and tell you what the cable is actually capable of. https://github.com/darrylmorley/whatcable

Apparently works via IOKit. How's a UI for that that not a system feature on every Apple device with a USB-C Port?

My new Mac app is out today! It's called Kickstart, and it has just one job: helping indie app developers make more money on the App Store. It is *packed* with features, many of which are completely free. Get it here: https://apps.apple.com/app/kickstart-app-accelerator/id6758355178
