Regular homelabber: sets up a monitoring service, tracks multiple services, tracks uptime, graphs and charts, gets alerts delivered through multiple alerting channels.

Me, with work and kids and school and nowhere near enough brain capacity: If something is wrong the server will beep at me.

I did slightly better than I thought. About 1 public transit based trip per month. Some trips were multimodal so that increases the numbers a bit. Also about 25% fewer trips than last year, mainly due to attending fewer events downtown. My ferry trips don’t show since I don’t pay via Orca card but now I kinda think I should just to pump my numbers up!

One of the best things my wife and I decided to do this last week was get #art framed and on our walls. We started getting quite the collection of items between stuff we never dealt with after the move to things we acquired after. Michael’s had a great deal on frames and it was only $15 to have them custom cut a mat and put it all together. Now I can actually enjoy the art that has been buried in a stack for months or years.
