The TimeSlice is central to AIXM temporality concept. Each aeronautical feature is composed of multiple TimeSlices, where each TimeSlice describes the state of the feature during a specific period of validity. This allows to plan and distribute future updates to the dataset.
AIXM (Aeronautical Information Exchange Model) is an internationally standardized information model used to represent aeronautical data in a structured, digital, and interoperable way. It supports the exchange of static and dynamic aeronautical information between systems while ensuring consistency, traceability, and semantic clarity.
The AIRAC cycle is a global aviation information synchronisation that defines special dates on which information, procedures, schedules, etc. can be changed. These changes are then displayed on the AIP for that country.
Some Aerodrome charts can become extemly complciated as the airport grows, but as there is now way to "split" the knowldge (knowing only half of the taxiways, procedures) the documentation must be complet

Aerodrome charts depict the immediate vicinity of an airport, including hot spots, communication facilities, stands, obstacles and runways, as well as taxiways.

The AIP contains charts (maps) that describe key aspects: taxiing, procedures (takeoff/landing), enroute, and comms. These charts make sure everyone is on the same page when it comes to safety, standardization, and global interoperability. thanks to ICAO Annex 4.
AIPs are usually publicly available to make sure the information can be accessed by all airspace users.
By making this data public, ICAO ensures that every pilot, regardless of the size of their operation, has the official source of truth for a country's AIP.
