I have a theory about this. Remember when Parents were on the "Don't let your kids watch TV" kick? These are those kids. If you'd watched #tv you would NEVER think this was a good idea: As James worked on the AI’s new “home,” – the computer in the basement – copy-pasting shell commands and Python scripts into a Linux environment, the chatbot coached him “every step of the way.”

2. AI is for assistance, not replacement in human endeavors. It must not be designed to replace a job, skill, or career

3. AI is not for aggressor systems. It can only be applied in non-belligerent activities.

4. Its use and development must not create excessive environmental damage or use excessive resources in its development and operation.

The LLMs are not the AI of legend. They are not going to become aware or conscious.
They are RSMs (Regurgitating Shit Models). They feed you nonsense based on what a million other desperate randos on the Net would have told you. They are designed to reinforce your preconceptions and predilections. Not help you find solutions.

This isn't about politics, it's about life. We need to start phrasing this as a battle for the future of humanity. We are not fighting for America. We are fighting for the future of Earth. A glorious future, not the past!

We need to stop using MAGA to define them because that frames it as a political and patriotic issue alone, and makes them the good guys. We have ceded the Battlefield of the Mind to their framing. It is time to make it our own.
