I'm sitting here and waiting for two laptops to finish virus scans. One of them have been at 98% for 20 minutes.

I was told that once these finish, I can go home.

I'm baffled by this aspect of the military industrial complex. We get all this money and pay all these contractors, and we're out there struggling to get printers to work and updating antivirus software on old Windows 7 laptops so that we can install new drivers for airplane parts?

Like, granted, I'm in maintenance for jets that are 40 years old. There's a lot of factors that goes into this. But our computers and tools are *garbage*.

apropos of nothing, irregular reminder to replace fonts.google.com or fonts.googleapis.com with fonts.bunny.net anywhere that you use it

it's a drop-in replacement that is privacy-respecting and isn't fucking google

i generally prefer to host my own fonts and trim them down to just characters i need, but this is markedly better than staying on google and requires basically no effort
