Anti-exceptionalist egalitarian. Empirical pragmatist: evidence over ideology, results over rationalization. Theory is as good as the least of its falsifiability, its internal consistency, and its withstanding of attempted disproof. It is as useful as one is willing to revise or replace it when it falls.

Though Amazon has faced issues with warehouse safety, the company said that the death was not work related.

Debugging some annoying problem on an Lenovo IdeaPad where the keyboard stops working after suspend+resume.. so I need to use an external keyboard sometimes.

It will never stop annoying me that notebook vendors can't decide where to put the fucking Ctrl (Strg) and Fn keys -_-

@ElwoodCity It would be interesting to see an #NDP-led minority next time. @avilewis and team would need to learn and implement a lot about effective organizing between now and then for that to happen. I hope they're studying what actually works, for whom, and where.

"That said, our best govs always come from Liberal + NDP minority gov. I hope NDP get more seats next election. They keep governments in check."

NEWS: So, the primary CONservative Political Action Group in the US was funded from the totalitarian Orban Hungarian (putin) government?

Republican Criminal Fascists. russia cannot directly fund maga or it would raise too many red flags so the money went through Hungary, a nato nation and member of the EU because that would raise fewer red flags. Well good, this is going to hurt the maga cause grievously.

@GossiTheDog There isn't one line. Lines which were the last for various now-former factions of the cult, per covert observers on the inside:

  • #Jan6 (a lot of cops)
  • tariff-caused inflation (small business owners)
  • suspension of aid to Ukraine (some military types)
  • ACA credits expiring (those with health issues themselves or in their family)
  • reversing on the #EpsteinFiles (Q cultists and Trumpists who'd been in denial about his predation)
  • ICE and CBP (Latino Trumpists)
  • attacking #MTG (some of her supporters)
  • supporting the #genAI industry (PC gamers, residents near "AI" datacenters)
  • insulting #NATO servicemembers and their sacrifices (a lot of veterans)
  • pandering to Netanyahu (various)
  • the war of aggression against Iran (various)
  • gas prices (truckers and rural commuters)
  • fertilizer prices (farmers)
  • attacking various influential podcasters (some of their fans)
  • the mocking "Allah" praise on Easter (some Islamophobes)
  • attacking the Pope (some who identify as Catholic)
  • the "Jesus" photo (some who identify as Christian)

The first major rupture was #Epstein. A lot of long-time supporters on Twitter and that other cesspool were lambasting him for weeks after that. There were a bunch more issues I didn't write down.

When trying to break someone from the cult mindset, pick the issue based on the target audience: what's most important to them, not to you.
