“And So Died Riabouchinska” (S1E20) — A detective investigates a murder that leads him to a very peculiar ventriloquist and his lifelike dummy.
“The Glass Eye” (S3E1) — A man recounts his late sister’s unsettling obsession with a traveling ventriloquist.

It's spooky season, so let's explore some puppet-y horror, shall we?
First up: Jan Švankmajer's 1988 "Alice" ("Něco z Alenky"). Combining live-action with stop-motion animation, this film has it all: taxidermy, creepy dolls, puppets with dentures, decapitation by scissors... What more could you ask for?!?
You can find it on YouTube in both Czech (with English subtitles) and English dub. Give it a watch -- if you dare. Then come back and tell us which part messed you up the most. 🐇✂️
