TetractysYep, if they tyres are already warmed, you can pop in and get the undercut by being faster, quicker. But, if there's no heaters and the rubber isn't sticky cold - you'll lose lots more places, and add more risk of crashing, changing of places, shuffling of the feild etc.
@Fingerthief @goldenjoe6 I am seeing everyone say no tyre blankets would make racing more competitive, but I don't think I understand why. Can you explain?
Regardless of if they remove or keep the blankets, it will be the same for everyone, why would it make things more competitive? just because it is tougher to time a pitstop when you need extra time to get tyres up to temp or something?
@goldenjoe6 I'm sure they'll get rid of them eventually. Them not doing it now doesn't mean they have to keep the blankets for years to come.
Roshan John@dbruik yes it certainly seems so, and I am personally trying to do my part even though I am virtually as new as you are.
Here’s a list of the games I’ve played or have in my collection lately, but right now we’re really enjoying Castles of Burgundy and Clank! We even brought out Ticket to Ride recently and was reminded how good even our simpler, gateway games can be.

@dbruik I'll have to check those out. We only got into board games as a group fairly recently, so we literally own two games in our collection: Root (with all the expansions) and Oath. I expect our collection will be growing soon 😅

@EugeneTeplitsky Will do thanks for the recommendation! Me and my group of friends own and play loads of boardgames, but I have not heard of Root. If you recommend it I will add it to my list. My personal favourites include #codenames and #decrypto.
